The Daily Star have reported that Endemol and Channel 5 have agreed to keep the iconic Big Brother eye on the new series of Big Brother which starts in August. The Eye has been part of the show since the start in 2000. Artist Daniel Eatock will be put to designing the new BB Eye for the Series in August. Dancing On Ice finalist, Laura Hamilton has revealed that she would love to take over from Davina McCall on the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother. Laura is currently working as a presenter on Nick. Jr but would love a prime-time role. Watchdog have rejected Nadia Almada's complaint about former Big Brother host, Davina McCall. Davina had said on Big Brother's Big Mouth, introducing a guest, "He has the charm of Coolio and the warmth of Ulrika (Jonsson). And he has the boyish good looks of Nadia."Ofcom said that it 'recognised the potentially offensive and personally hurtful nature of Ms McCall's comments to Ms Almada".Davina did state that she was sorry and that the Big Brother 5 winner "has always been one of my favourite... People have been speculating that this will start Online Auditions for the new BB Series which launches after Celebrity Big Brother in September. No other details have been released as of yet. Previous Big Brother voice over man Marcus Bentley is said to be returning to the microphone to voice over Celebrity Big Brother 8 and Big Brother 12. The Daily Star, owned by Richard Desmond, the Channel 5 owner has said that he 'cannot wait to return to his role'.
